Den f\u00f6rsta fasen av renoveringen omfattade byte av ventilation och fastighetsteknik i simhallsdelen. I den andra fasen f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrades byggnadens energieffektivitet ytterligare, inomhusluften f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrades och byggnadens tekniska utrustning moderniserades.<\/p>\n\n<p>Den \u00e4ldsta delen av det traditionella kongresshotellet byggdes 1965, medan poolflygeln byggdes 1975. Ventilationssystemen var i stort sett i ursprungligt skick.<\/p>\n\n<p>En viktig anledning till renoveringen av ventilationen och byggnadstekniken var det tillh\u00f6rande energibesparingsm\u00e5let. Gustavelund har varit involverat i Arbets- och n\u00e4ringsdepartementets energieffektiviseringsprogram i mer \u00e4n tio \u00e5r och alla bolagets \u00e5tg\u00e4rder tar h\u00e4nsyn till m\u00f6jligheten att spara energi.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8221;Det h\u00e4r \u00e4r ett viktigt v\u00e4rde f\u00f6r oss\", s\u00e4ger <strong>Antti Ropponen<\/strong>, VD. Han \u00e4ger och driver hotellet tillsammans med sin fru Pia.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8221;F\u00f6rr brukade vi kasta ganska mycket varmluft p\u00e5 harpyorna. Nu \u00e4r energif\u00f6rbrukningen optimerad.\"<\/p>\n\n<p>Renoveringen medf\u00f6rde inte n\u00e5gra st\u00f6rningar f\u00f6r hotellet eller restaurangen. F\u00f6r familjef\u00f6retaget var det s\u00e4rskilt viktigt att kundservicen inte avbr\u00f6ts f\u00f6r ett \u00f6gonblick.
