In this way the heat produced reduces the demand for district heating and cooling energy. At the same time, the costs of both the property owner and the property user are reduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.elisa.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Elisa<\/a>\u2019s head office will save roughly 250 tonnes of CO<sub>2<\/sub> per year, which is approximately equal to the yearly output of 1000 solar panels or the ability to compensate for the emissions of over 2000 return flights to Stockholm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.varma.fi\/muut\/yhtiotietoa\/vuosikertomus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Varma<\/a>\u2019s goal is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from its properties by 20 per cent by 2025. In addition, Varma has committed to a 10 per cent energy-saving goal between 2017 and 2025.
