LeaseGreen has offices in Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Lappeenranta and Tampere. TalPro’s eight employees have been transferred to LeaseGreen’s employment as senior staff members.
“This acquisition represents a significant stage in our growth,” says LeaseGreen CEO Tomi Mäkipelto. “We are doubling our organisational capacity, and at the same time reinforcing our team with highly qualified building service project experts. Following this acquisition we now have a professional team of around twenty experts who are able to serve clients over a wide geographical area. By acquiring TalPro we are strengthening the resources we need to realise our strategic goal of making investments totalling 100 million euros to improve our clients’ energy efficiency between 2014 and 2016.”
“At EMC, in the future we will focus on our core business, which encompasses building services, line renovations, technical services and automation – with energy efficiency and life cycle services playing an important role in these areas,” explains EMC Talotekniikka CFO Timo Kostiainen.
“TalPro’s business as it is today does not fit in with this strategy, so we have decided to divest the company.”
Kostiainen is pleased to have found a suitable home for TalPro, where its business can continue to be developed and expanded.
“In future, we’re sure to have opportunities to cooperate with LeaseGreen on building service projects,” adds Kostiainen.
