Espoo retail centre’s energy bill shrinking

An energy efficiency refit will shrink the energy bill of and reduce emissions from a retail property located in the Suomenoja area of Espoo.

The refit will be implemented as a turnkey project by LeaseGreen. The property is owned by furniture design and retail group Isku.

The project will include the modernisation of building automation and ventilation systems as well as LED technology installations to both indoor and outdoor lighting. The contract period is eight years and the estimated accumulated savings will amount to more than 400 000 euros over the life cycle of the investments.

This property is the second co-collaboration project between LeaseGreen and Isku in the metropolitan area of Finland’s capital city Helsinki. The first project was at Viisari retail centre in Vantaa.
